AntiVirus acting up? come in.

Post  Muffins on Thu Apr 24, 2008 4:09 am

Ok so, here is the fix for this following error if you get a problem with AVG. I will post up more guides with different antivirus softwares when I get the chance.

So here is how you fix it. With AVG. Go to your AVG control center, click on "Resident Shield" then uncheck "turn on"

Once you do that, you should then see your control center looking like this.

Also you should get a notice at the bottom of your screen.

Now run the client and you should be able to play. Once feel free to turn on your shield. It will not boot you out of the game, just keep you from getting in it. However every time you want to play, you must turn off your resident shield. What resident shield does is scan your computer for virus, well....according to AVG, some files in the folder is a virus, which it is not. So that is why AVG will not allow you to access the file. Enjoy!
